Soldiers assigned to the 207th Military Intelligence Brigade-Theater await to enter the Aviano Air Base Passenger Terminal as a part of the 307th Military Intelligence Battalion's Theater Entry Training. The training gave Soldiers the chance to practice entering foreign theaters and practice responses to precarious situations. The training was part of the Lightning Focus 24, the 207th Military Intelligence Brigade-Theater’s annual exercise.
Lightning Focus 2024 provides an opportunity for increasing individual & crew weapons proficiency, training on Basic Soldier Skills, junior Soldier and NCO development, improving unit cohesion & team-building, and scenario-based operational intelligence support training to certify intelligence platforms; building readiness in support of SETAF-AF, USAREUR-AF and USAFRICOM.
