    Deputy Garrison Commander Lt. Col. Sheila L. Coker presents an appreciation plaque Jan. 15, 2019, to retired Command Sgt. Maj. Rufus Parker following his presentation during the post observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday at McCoy's Community Center at Fort McCoy, Wis. Parker currently serves as a pastor at Calvary Apostolic Church in La Crosse. Parker is also the author of six books: “Developing the Man in the Mirror”; “A Reflection of the Man in the Mirror”; “If God Be for Us, Who Can Be Against Us?”; “According to the Pattern”; “Today’s Morsel”; and “Building Blocks to Manhood.” (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T.
