U.S. Marines with U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South, examine the Peruvian Marine Corps’ search and rescue capabilities during a demonstration as part of a staff planner working group at the Base Naval De Infanteria De Marina, Lima, Peru, Jan. 24, 2024. The Peruvian Marine Corps static display served to showcase the capabilities and equipment of the Peruvian Marine Corps as well as to build upon existing partnership and relationships. Staff planner working groups involve planning joint military exercises which are crucial for improving interoperability, understanding each other's tactics and capabilities, and enhancing readiness for various scenarios.
