240126-N-PV401-1106 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 26, 2024) Electronics Technician 3rd Class Kyle Clarke, from Paradise, California, holds onto a phone-and-distance (P&D) line during a fueling-at-sea aboard Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59). The P&D line is used to measure distance between ships while transferring items and fuel. Princeton is assigned to Carrier Strike Group ONE and deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
