A U.S. Marine Corps main pack is packed and worn during a six-mile conditioning hike conducted by 3d Littoral Logistic Battalion, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 26, 2024. Conditioning hikes consist of carrying heavy loads for long distances to test and improve physical fitness, mental fortitude, and unit comradery.
