FORT STORY, Va. - U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training and Evaluation Unit (EODTEU) TWO conduct helicopter rope suspension techniques (HRST) rappel and fast rope operations from an MH-60S Seahawk, attached to the “Chargers'' of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, during a training exercise on Fort Story, Jan. 24, 2024. EODTEU TWO holds a two-week long HRST/Cast Master course, training EOD and special operations personnel to be proficient and qualified HRST/Cast Masters, safely supervising all helicopter-borne insertion and extraction operations.
