    YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 29, 2024) Paul Vilaysack, left, from Fort Worth, Texas, and Thurlis Little, from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, set up equipment to fit Sailors for chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) protective masks and suits on the mess decks aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), while in-port Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Jan. 29. Ronald Reagan conducts annual mask fit tests to ensure all Sailors have the correct personnel protective equipment in the event of CBR exposure. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of the Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interest in the Indo-Pacific region.
