U.S. Department of Army Civilian Mr. Patricia Tastad, a working group lead of the Commander’s Ready and Resilient Council (CR2C), U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), receives a coin from Maj. Gen. Todd Wasmund, SETAF-AF commanding general, at Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy, Feb. 2nd, 2024. Tastad was recognized for going above and beyond to improve the readiness and resiliency of the community from October 2022 to October 2023 by developing a wellness network for medical service providers within Vicenza and Camp Darby. SETAF-AF provides U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Army Europe & Africa a dedicated headquarters to synchronize Army activities in Africa and scalable crisis response options in Africa and Europe.
