Ahlemeyer, a Hadley, Mass., native, and his unit are attached to 1st Battalion, 118th Field Artillery Regiment, 48th Brigade, Georgia National Guard, which is supporting 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom 3.
