U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Ryan Zeringue briefs his team on the scheme of maneuver for a range during the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition Pacific on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Feb. 1, 2024. The purpose of the competition is to increase the proficiency of shooters and to recognize those individuals who are uniquely skilled in their marksmanship capabilities. This year a team of Marines from the 3d MLR participated and won the rifle team portion of the competition.
