Tomb guards from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) give a tour of the Tomb Quarters to members of the Washington Nationals, Commander of the 316th Wing and Installation U.S. Air Force Col. Todd Randolph, and Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Garrison Commander U.S. Army Col. Tasha Lowery, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va., Feb. 2, 2024. All were at ANC to participate in a Public Wreath-Laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and to visit the gravesite of U.S. Army Cpl. Ernest Jud Wilson who is included on the Hall of Fame Ring at Nationals Park. Wilson served during WWI and later played in the Negro league on the Baltimore Black Sox, the Homestead Grays, the Pittsburgh Crawfords, and the Philadelphia Stars.
