U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Benedict Stur, with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, conducts a 8-kilometer hike on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Jan. 30, 2024. The purpose of the hike is to condition recruits to the rigorous terrain on Camp Pendleton and prepare them for their 13-kilometer hike and culminating event - the Crucible.
