ORLANDO, Fla. – Staff Sgt. Sebastian Ochoa (left), a fire support specialist currently assigned to U.S Army Esports, Recruiting Outreach Company, U.S. Army Accessions Mission Support Battalion had the opportunity to participate in an open panel discussion with Travis Langley (right), a psychology professor at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and author of numerous books, including 'Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight', at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida Feb. 3, 2024.
The two discussed the role comics played in the American public's perception of military service and conflict throughout the 20th century, and how Esports has become a vital recruiting tool to engage with young people today to discuss the benefits of a career in the U.S. Army.
