Advisors assigned to the 3rd Security Force Assistance Brigade receive a media engagement brief, from U.S. Army Sgt. Nicholas Goodman, a public affairs specialist assigned to the 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, during the military readiness exercise at Fort Cavazos, Texas, Feb. 8, 2024, in preparation for their upcoming deployment to the U.S. Central Command area of operations. During the exercise, Soldiers were challenged with simulated assess, support, liaise and advise scenarios with foreign security force role players. The event is one of many training requirements that certify the advisors’ ability to support foreign partner forces and enhance their readiness to defeat terrorist and near peer threats.
