Marine Barracks Washington hosted a Brigadier General Select Orientation Course (BGSOC) Honors Ceremony for newly promoted and soon-to-be brigadier generals and senior executives at Marine Barracks Washington, Jan. 22, 2024. BGSOC is an annual, week-long course held in the National Capital Region to instruct the newly promoted individuals on their new rank and responsibilities.
