U.S. Navy Capt. Kathleen Cooperman, commanding officer of the U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, briefs Marine Corps Base Camp Butler senior leaders’ spouses on medical capabilities during a family support tour on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 13, 2024. The tour included stops at the Camp Foster Commissary, Zukeran Elementary School, Ashibina Child Development Center, Neighborhood Pantry, Marine Thrift Shop, and the USNHO. Spouses of senior enlisted advisors and commanding officers from III Marine Expeditionary Force and Marine Corps Installations Pacific were briefed on the capabilities, operations and procedures of each establishment to advocate for military families.
