PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 13, 2024) Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class Rusty Gundayao provides the pilots of an MH-60R helicopter, assigned to the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) -51 visual information of the location of Sailors beyond the flight line on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115). Rafael Peralta is forward-deployed and assigned to Commander, Task Force 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
