On February 9th, The Union League Club of Chicago hosted their 135th annual celebration of George Washington’s birthday. Adm. (Ret.) John Richardson was the keynote speaker.
In his speech, Adm. Richardson reflected on the leadership and legacy of President George Washington and his commitment to America.
“Our nation, and our revolution needs us all to commit to the maximum level. And by doing that, future generations will enjoy their evening, telling stories about President Washington and our nation,” said Adm. Richardson (USN, Ret.). “We will be a beacon of hope to all in the world who seek freedom, self-determination and human rights.”
