240208-N-HE057-1364 RED SEA (Feb. 8, 2024) An MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7, takes off from the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) in the Red Sea, Feb. 8. As part of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, Mason is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to help ensure maritime security and stability in the Middle East region.
