U.S. Marines detonate an explosive charge during a demolition range as a part of Reconnaissance Certification Exercise at Combined Arms Training Center Camp Fuji, Japan, Feb 8, 2024. At the demolition range, Marines practiced clearing, removing, and breaching obstacles within a combat scenario to facilitate the movement of maneuver forces. RCERT is a battalion level exercise that evaluates Marines on all ground reconnaissance warfighting skills and tactics. The Marines are with 3d Reconnaissance Battalion, 3d Marine Division.
