The District of Columbia National Guard State Partnership Program (SPP) welcomed members of the Burkina Faso Armed Forces to the National Capital Region, Feb. 13-16, 2024. The delegation received capabilities briefs at the D.C. Armory, the 113th Wing, and National Guard Bureau. In 2019, Burkina Faso became the D.C. National Guard’s second state partnership. The relationship enhances readiness, interoperability and regional expertise, while supporting broader U.S. government objectives in Africa. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by 1Lt. Alexia D. Nal)
