Kathryn Gaetke, 51st Operations Group commander, conducts pre-flight checks with Airman 1st Class Nathan Reynolds, 36th Fighter Generation Squadron crew chief, during Thirsty Fiend, a routine training event, at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 22, 2024. The event brought together pilots and aircraft from the 36th and 25th Fighter Squadrons and the 4th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, to train on strategic interoperability measures and ensure mission readiness by being able to seamlessly integrate with different units.
