NORFOLK, Va. - Electronics Technician 2nd Class (ET2) Guillermo Mendoza (left), Winston Wylie (center) and Kyle Harmon (right) pose for a photo inside Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center's (MARMC) Miniature/Micro-miniature (2M) and Module Test Repair (MTR) Lab onboard Naval Station Norfolk, Feb. 27, 2024. The 2M lab earned the highest total cost avoidance across all Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 through Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Miniature/Micro-miniature Electronics Repair and Module Test and Repair Program. The 2M/MTR program allows Electronics Technicians to repair faulty circuit card assemblies and electronic modules from fleet and shore units. MARMC, a field activity under Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
