Newly promoted Lt. Col. Juanita DuBon, the Senior Medical Officer for the 773rd Civil Support Team becomes emotional recalling her mother’s support of her military career following her promotion ceremony, Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Panzer Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
DuBon, who recently lost her mother, was overcome with emotion, recounting the love and support her mother always provided. She recalls how joining the Army worked to fulfill her mother's desire for her to attend and complete college.
“… You have to do it,' DuBon recalled, 'I don’t know how you’re going to go to college, but you’re going to do it."
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment support for U.S. Army Europe - Africa missions across the theater.
