U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Zack Brill, Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCIWS), U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MarForPac), treads water during the basic swim qualification on Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, Feb. 27, 2024. MarForPac MCIWS instructed Marines from bases around the island through basic and intermediate swim qualifications to fulfill their swim qualification requirements during this multiple-hour exercise.
