In February 2024, USAID Egypt Mission Director Sean Jones joined Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Hala El Said, and Saleh ElSheikh, the Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration to launch the USAID-funded AI Chatbot “KMT” (pronounced Kemet), the new artificial intelligence tool that answers questions from the public and government employees.
