U.S. Navy Sailors, assigned to Beachmaster Unit 1, ground guide a vehicle while testing a submersible matting system during Project Convergence - Capstone 4 at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 29, 2024. The Sailors were experimenting with the Submersible matting to create a stable roadway system across the littoral zone to bridge the gap between low and high tide at the beach.
PC-C4 is an U.S. Army hosted joint and multinational experiment that will inform the integration of modernization capabilities and formations at multiple echelons in the future operating environment.
