U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Carlos A. Ruiz, Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, participates in a question and answer discussion with 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) (MEU(SOC)) non-commissioned officers and staff non-commissioned officers aboard the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD-50), Souda Bay, Greece, March 1, 2024. The 20th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps visited the forward deployed 26th MEU(SOC) and met with leadership while also hosting discussions with Marines and Sailors. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 26th MEU(SOC) is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. 6th Fleet to defend U.S., Allied and partner interests.
