The 5th Civil Engineering Squadrons Fire Protection Flight plans, organizes and directs all fire protection activities on Minot Air Force Base. They constantly train for any emergency situation and are evaluated on specialized fire protection equipment and procedures. The team also directs facility inspections and identifies fire hazards and deficiencies. The fire protection flight's goal is to protect MAFB's people, property and the enviorment from fires and disasters by providing fire prevention, firefighting, rescue and hazardous material response.
