CORONADO, Calif. (Jan. 09, 2024) – A Naval Special Warfare Basic Training Command instructor issues orders to SEAL candidate boat crew leaders as they prepare to launch their inflatable boats into the ocean surf during the 1st Phase of Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
