U.S. Marine Corps 1st Sgt. Mark Dickey, the company first sergeant of Motor Transport Maintenance Company (MTM), 3rd Maintenance Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, transfers the retired MTM unit colors during the redesignation ceremony of Regional Maintenance Operations Company-South (RMOC-S) on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, March 1, 2024. RMOC-S consists of what was formerly Engineer Maintenance Company and MTM. By consolidating resources, streamlining processes, and enhancing interoperability, RMOC-S strengthens the Marine Corps’ ability to respond swiftly to any threat, and ensures the Marine Corps remains an agile, lethal, and expeditionary force, capable of operating in a distributed and contested environment.
