NORFOLK, Va. (March 2, 2024) Ken Stethem, brother of Steelworker Second Class Robert Stethem who was killed by terrorists on board TWA flight 847 while returning from an underwater construction team project in 1985, speaks at the 2024 Seabee Ball. The Seabees celebrated 82 years of providing naval construction capabilities to the Fleet. The Naval Construction Force enables infrastructure improvement projects through general engineering support and can provide expeditionary airfield and port damage repair capabilities in support of distributed maritime operations.
