PASCAGOULA, Miss. (Mar. 4, 2024) – Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti addresses shipyard workers and crew members of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock PCU Richard M. McCool Jr. (LPD 29) over the 1MC during a tour of the ship while visiting Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Miss., Mar. 4. Franchetti and the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Christopher Mahoney were able to interact with U.S. Navy Sailors and civilians, industry leadership, and members of Congress during the Gulf Coast visit.
