More than 100 cadets participated in the Student Workshop on Civil-Military Operations (CMO) on March 4 at the Riverside Cafe at Eisenhower Hall. The workshop was created as a venue for student development and learning within the realm of CMO. It is an opportunity to bring together leading scholars and practitioners on the topics of CMO to debate and discuss recent developments that will contribute to the cadets expansive learning experience before becoming leaders of character. The workshop, sponsored by the USMA Class of 1978 and organized by the Center for the Study of Civil-Military Operations, is for cadets enrolled in EV482: Military Geography, which is the capstone, integrative experience for Geography and GIS majors, and includes many Defense and Strategic Studies majors as well as other cadets who take it as an elective.
