Inter-American Defense students, staff, faculty and distinguished guests celebrate the 180th anniversary of the Dominican Republic’s Independence at the IADC campus on Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, D.C., on March 1, 2024. The celebration included visitors such as Ambassador Mayerlyn Cordero Diaz - Ambassador, Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), BG Robert Miguel Labort, Defense, Military, Naval, Air and Police Attaché at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic and Delegate to the Inter-American Defense Board, Ms. Aralís Rodríguez Collado - Deputy Chief of Mission of the Dominican Republic Embassy in the United States and other distinguished guests.
