The 5th Civil Engineers Squadron’s Fire Protection Flight plans, organizes, and directs all fire protection activities on Minot Air Force Base. They constantly train for any emergency situation and are evaluated on specialized fire protection equipment and procedures. The team also directs facility inspections and identifies fire hazards and deficiencies. The fire protection flight’s goal is to protect MAFB’s people, property, and the environment from fires and disasters by providing fire prevention, firefighting, rescue, and hazardous material response.
