U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Alex Grynkewich (right), Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central) commander, coined a U.S. Army Central Command Soldier, specialized in rigging supplies for airdrops, at an undisclosed location in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, March 8, 2024. Grynkewich thanked these USARCENT Soldiers for their contributions during multiple combined and joint airdrops conducted over Gaza in early March, 2024. As a joint and combined mission, AFCENT Airmen and USARCENT Soldiers packed 192 pallets of aid for the first three airdrops, consisting of over 112,000 meals, for civilians in Gaza.
