EL CENTRO, Calif. (March 9, 2024) The capabilities of Navy Medicine were on display at Naval Air Facility (NAF) El Centro's 2024 Air Show on March 9, 2024. Lt. j.g. Stephen Senderoff (L), Naval Branch Health Clinic El Centro department head, hosts Capt. Elizabeth Adriano (second from R), Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) director, at the medical display tent. The mission of NMCSD is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality health care services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research. NMCSD employs more than 5,000 active-duty military personnel, civilians and contractors in southern California to provide patients with world-class care anytime, anywhere.
