Marines with Chemical Biological Incident Response Force demonstrate a vehicle extraction Feb. 5, during a base visit by General Charles Jacoby, Jr., the commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command. The mission of CBIRF is to forward-deploy and respond to any credible threat of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive incidents in order to assist local, state, or federal agencies and unified combat commanders in the conduct of consequence management operations.
