Republic of Korea Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, 2nd Rapid Response Division, conduct an air and ground assault training involving more than 30 helicopters from the U.S. and ROK as part of a combined air assault training exercise during Freedom Shield 24, March 13, 2024, at Korea Combined Training Center in South Korea. An annual event, FS24, a holistic military training program, integrates ground, air, and naval elements, enhancing readiness through realistic combat simulations, interoperability, and live exercises refining troops’ combat skills.
