Equipment from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division are prepped for commercial line haul transport at the Port of Alexandroupolis, Greece March 12, 2024. Each piece of equipment is documented and identified for transport through commercial line haul or rail to their final destination. U.S. and Greek personnel moved approximately 3,000 pieces of equipment for the 3rd ABCT’s rotational deployment in Europe to deter aggression and assure NATO allies. This mission made sustainment history as it facilitated the reception, staging, and onward movement of the first “heavy” brigade in Greece.
