    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Mar. 19, 2024) Midshipmen and staff at the U.S. Naval Academy attend the Anderson Lecture at Alumni Hall. Invited guests include Scott Lehman and Shayna Unger, who became the first deaf Americans to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. As the undergraduate college of our country’s naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
