A U.S. Marine participates in a relay race event during the annual Engineer Games at Fort Hase
Beach, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), March 13, 2024. The relay race required Marines to
perform burpees, sprint to the M240-B machine gun, disassemble and reassemble the weapon,
and then return to the starting point. The purpose of the Engineer games was to promote
camaraderie and Esprit de Corps among the engineering units of MCBH. (U.S. Marine Corps
