U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey gives 63 of Yongsan-gu’s newest employees a tour of the installation to introduce them to various aspects of military culture and life, Yongsan, South Korea, March 20, 2024. The U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan-Casey Community Relations Office organized and hosted the tour to increase the cross-cultural understanding and awareness of public servants working in the surrounding community. During the visit, Ms. Pak, I Kyong, P.E. Environmental Engineer of the Directorate of Public Works' environmental team, provided an in-depth briefing on the significance of Yongsan and its geographical/historical background of Yongsan base during the Japanese colonial period.
