(Mar. 22, 2024) –A group of Oscar Smith Middle School's eight grade AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) students, along with their teachers, received a once in a lifetime experience aboard Military Sealift Command’s fleet replenishment oiler USNS Joshua Humphreys (T-AO 188), located in Norfolk, Va., Feb. 28.
