240315-N-LW994-1067 – TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (Mar. 15, 2024) – A U.S. Navy Special Warfare Combat Crewman (SWCC) points to the shoreline during a boat tour with the Tybee Island Marine Rescue Squadron. As part of Navy Week Savannah, Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command toured the Georgia coastline and exchanged sea stories with locals. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
