1. INDIAN HEAD, Md. (circa. 1997) – Tracy Arnold-Berrios (left) explains the facets of her job as a Manager, Analytical Laboratory to U.S. House Representative from Maryland Steny Hoyer (right) and then Secretary of the Navy John Dalton (middle) during a tour of the Naval Special Warfare Center-Indian Head. She conspicuously advanced through her early career at NSWC-Indian Head, holding several leadership positions and worked on the development, production, and testing of Energetic Materials. Now the Director of Integrated Nuclear Weapons Safety & Security at the U.S. Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and a member of the DOD’s Senior Executive Service, Arnold-Berrios has more than 40 years of experience in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math field. SSP’s mission is to provide credible and affordable strategic solutions that equip America’s Warfighting Navy to deter strategic attack and underwrite the security of our nation and our allies.
