Kraus Hamdani Aerospace cofounder Stefan Kraus (right) explains the capabilities of the K1000ULE (Ultra Long Endurance) Unmanned Aerial System to Soldiers from the 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command March 6, 2024, at Fort Irwin, Calif. The K1000ULE is one of many advanced technological platforms the U.S. Army is evaluating to support Future Vertical Lift, a key priority in the Army Transformation Enterprise. FVL aims to modernize Army aviation by improving speed, range and coordination to take decisive action in various operational environments. Soldiers from the 75th USARIC joined Kraus and other defense contractors to help identify issues and offer solutions as they tested and refined their cutting-edge technology during Project Convergence Capstone 4. PC-C4 is U.S. Army hosted experiment that enables warfighters from the United States and other countries to analyze advanced systems that support multidomain operations.
