U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Courtney Gentry, left,
an aircraft electrical systems technician with Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 and a Suicide Prevention Coordinator, and U.S. Navy Lt. Irene Brodd, right, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Branch Health Clinic received their February 2024 Impact Iwakuni award at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, March 12, 2024. The Impact Iwakuni award is presented monthly to recipients that make a significant positive impact on the community Sgt. Gentry and Lt. Brodd won the award because of their enduring contribution to the MCAS Iwakuni resiliency mission by developing a joint operation suicide prevention event integrating Department of the Navy resiliency assets benefiting 26 tenet commands.
