Happy National Doctor’s Day to Maj. Lesli Thomas, chief of primary care for Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital. Thomas overseas all of the primary care for Soldiers and Families at the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Johnson, Louisiana. Thomas is a family practitioner which means unlike other specialties that are limited to a particular organ or disease, family physicians are the the only specialists qualified to treat most ailments and provide comprehensive health care for people of all ages - from newborns to seniors.
